Hey guys can ppl that own a eg civs with an engine transplant tell me how much they pay for insurance before the transplant and after?

For my EG5 VTi just car insurance 3rd party $867, it wouldnt be different if u had a different engine.
my previous car, was a old pulsar with a different engine (turbo) for 3rd party was around the $700 mark.

Its quite easy man, to get an estimate not sure for engine conversion but for other mods, just go onto Just Car Insurance's website and lodge an online quote, you can get all the different covers

$575, full compo, 95 VTi civic, stock engine
Mods: zorst, lowered, audio gear (that's what i told them about :p)
They wouldn't insure my gauges or tv and some other crap, but it's insured for $14k, and the preium keeps going lower from year to year, it was 800+ when i got it 3 years ago and has dropped

14K???? - for an EG - I had an EG sedan GLi and mine was insured for 5K - i had it under my parents name and i was d second driver - i was payin $1100.

Stuff them, if they want to pay me that much, i say let them.
Thing was, i paid 11.5k for the car years ago, and than said i want to put all this stuff into it (audio, wheels....etc) so they said max we'll do for all that is 2k+price of the car, so it ended up coming up to 14k all up. It's in parents name and i'm the second driver, same as Fo55il, but that's because NRMA wanted to charge me 5.5k per year coz i was under 25, WTF?????

And that's why ladies and gents i hate insurance :p
