I have created this thread to show one way of storing tools in the boot of your car, without them rattling, becoming unsecure and damaging your car or your passengers. For this task i am securing my breaker bar to remove wheels and tight bolts/nuts. I am placing it in an unused and discrete place so i dont have to look at it, dont have to worry about it getting away, and because the space is there.
Tools and Equipment needed:
- Foam
- Car with storage space
- Sharp knife
Here is a pic of the location. Its always about location location!!
2412
First take a piece of foam like this one.
2411
Make sure your tool is not too long!!
2413
Get out your cutting tool, i use one like this
2414
Cut a line into the foam about the length of the tool you wish to place inside. Dont worry too much about the width, the foam is very permiable:p
2415
Now that your hole is now chopped, jam your tool in the hole. Should be nice and tight.
2416
Its tight when it looks like this!
2417
Now its tight in there, jam the whole lot into the desired space.
