Haven't heard of the ACT flywheel, but heaps of members are using exedy clutches and clutch plates, so you should have no problems with the clutch. I've got an Exedy HD clutch

exedy do nice flywheels themselves, then there is the usual toda etc

cos the im gettin a combined deal off the seller. its like i have a choice so i thought might as well get the flywheel also, weight the same with the spoon and toda. 8.8lbs so around 4.2kg. i mean i might as well get it if it fits and works the same.

the ACT flywheel is a US brand, very popular in the US. I've heard good things about it. If its for a B series it will fit, doesn't matter if its cable or rod select that part makes no difference

great, thx alot. i've heard some positives feedback regarding the ACT brand so yea should be fine.

however is there a way to tell if the flywheel match with the clutch? like can i just put it togther by hand and see if the gears match?

ACT flywheel will give u no drama at all

I'm running those on my car. The combo u have and u'll love it. Don't base all your honda info just on ozhonda. There's other site u can view that will give u a much wider opinion on parts that ur after.

I source alot of my information on Honda-tech.com (US base) and jdmcivic.com

Have a search around! You'll be surpise with what u find. Besides the ACT flywheel is a sweet piece of work :)

ACT make great products, from experience. JDM stuff is great quality but quite often overpriced.

when buying new clutchs, do these all come with their pressure plate and releasing bearings??

If you have a B-series engine/box then a b-series clutch+flywheel should work no worries.

If you wanna make sure.. then just get the clutch plate and ensure the spline of it fits on the input shaft. If it does there's no drama's. You would need to have your bell-housing off and have the clutch plate on hand to check this though.

Just ensure its made for your transmission and you'll have no issues. It always pays too check when installing it anyway.

Good question, id like to know this too??

Id want it to come with a new release bearing definately.. Im wondering if you get a new pressure plate with it aswell as the pressure plate is connected to the clutch housing???
Maybe you use the stock pressure plate.

Id like to see some info on this too as ill be getting a new clutch in the future :D

if you purchase exedy clutches, they will most likely include a pressure plate and release bearing as well.

i got a spoon clutch n pressure plate, release bearing purchased seperately:thumbdwn:

5.06? not good with numbers but the higher it is the faster it accelerates and lose top speed? or the other way round. i dnt want to be driving on HWY at 100km/hr reving at 5krpm
