my fren and me figure out some causes
1. engine mount broke
2. gear box (mayb clutch kit)

not making much sense to me, although you might be reaching fuel cutoff revving that far.

If you got broken mounts then check if you've cracked your headers.. might have an exhaust leak.

can't be a AUD type R either... redline is 8100 (unless he has Hondata).... there you have a whole lot of other things to look into :p

Are you running 98 octane? Have you been doing hard launches that could have broken your engine mounts?

might be the tyres trying to gain traction thus causing the car to vibrate?

tis true. dc5r doesnt rev to 8500 stock. my opinion is give it a service and make sure u dont constantly rev it up that high unless the prob is fixed to avoid serious problems

I wish my DC5R revved to 8.5k that would be sweeter than 8.1 - 8.2k ish.
But in saying that, when VTEC does kick in, its quiet easy to lose perspective of reality. Sometimes you feel like you've just travelled through a wormhole.

If you love high rev, you better to change high performance clutch kit.
