Window tint

i have an ed3 seden civic and wanted to know if anyone else has window tint on there ed civic and how dark to go.

hey mate

well if u wanna stay legal..its 35% tint on the car..u can go to 20% and even 5%...but u could get done by the cops for it..maybe just go on yahoo or cardomain and check out some eds on there and see if they look good :)

i heard dat if u get pulled ova and dey wanna defect you for ur tints den just say that u got ur car like that...
and becuz ur car is a 90 model, they cant do anything becuz the law of tinting windows too dark was intrduced in 94...

I saw a BMW 7 series with pitch black windows the other day. Couldnt see anything. The guy that owned it is probably ugly as ****.

Hahahaha, yeah ugly ppl get dark tinting. A friends just got his teg done 5% visibility, can't see anything during the day let along at night, scary, and you can't wind down the windows for the first 48 hrs so the glue can settle or something.

I'm thinking of doing my doors 35% (legit) and 20% for the back, just can't decide on colour yet

like..cops dont go out there lookin for cars with tints..wen they defect u for other shiet..and realise ur tints are to dark then yeh ull get done for em

btw..colourd and mirror tints are defects as well :p

Man everything is illegal these days, but Black is a colour too or athe the cops racist :p, i can't decide between red or blue, hmmm.....i drive a white car by the way. Seen a white civic with red tint b4, i like, seen a blue civic with blue tint and i like even more

i got mine down 35% at front

and 2 layer at the rear of purple chrome and cyan chrome.. came out bluey...

personally i prefer tints on the whole car to be the same..or eles it looks uneven

Hahahaha i had almost the same tint on my old 180, except i had some chrome flame thing going thorugh, wasn't my choice, got the car like that, i think it was something stopid like 10%

i had 18 all round except the front i dont see why people get the top 1/5th of their windows tinted, it looks silly

I just booked my car in today, 25% all round for 350, including the cost of ripping off my old tint (roughly $90 just for that). I did want blue but the guy kinda turned me away from it. I thought he does this for a living so maybe i should listen to his advice :p

Here's a pic of my old 180, i think it had 10% all round with flames, not 100% sure because i bought it like that.

i got 35% 3M Scotchguard tint, come with a lifetime warranty, mine looks nice and neat too =)

Just got mine done yeserday, 20% all round. Went black after all because the blue they had looked pulple when they put it on the window so i told them to swap for black, free of charge and it came with life time warranty, 3M scotchtint or something.

abit under 10% because original tints faded and I topped it up with 10%.
