Yes it will wear down your motor. Superchargers are great for high revving motor applications as it provides better low-down drivability - which we dont generally have. However, there will be more stress on the motor (for similar boost compared to a turbo) as there is instant boost on low-revs.
Basically, a turbo works off exhaust air flow, so it is variable to the flow and as such so is power produced. Generally, more exhaust flow, more power, but this power is eased on. A supercharger works off belts, and will instantly provide power, but will sacrifice higher end of the rev-range, as it add extra friction to your beltline, and will limit inertia of driveline. It is also noted as a higher stressing power increase because it is on constant boost, and there is no time for 'easing' in of the revs/driveline. Because your engine will feel boost lower in rev range, there is more wear - standard OEM supercharged motors are usually upgraded from standard.
Examples of this are the 4AGZE motor by Toyota. Standard supercharged, and featured forged pistons and better rods to cope with extra stress over a NA (even on low boost). The turbo'd 7AFTE however which was seen in rare corolla sportivo did not have forged internals, and was running low boost also. This is reason why many corolla owners (with 4agze's often switch to turbo) as already easily able to cope with power increase from starting package.
I reccomend strengthening internals if you plan to supercharge, add lightweight pulley kit, and upgrade braking. Power will increase, but higher torque figure is what you will notice first.

dont do it man
that price seems tooo cheap
save some more and get a proper engineer to look at the current state of ur engine then advise u wat to do. nothing worse than spending money and having sumthin break. also keep in mind ur insurance will go dramatically skyward

the reason its so cheap is becasue the guy that bought it owns a ford and the supercharger spins anti clockwise and for it to work on the ford it has to work clockwise but it will work on any honda. well i think i no a bit more about it now i should look in to it more i just can't find anywere in the goldcoast to do internal work to my car it sucks???help

for that much money id do it
but youll need a comp to tune it so double that amount already, plus other bits and peices

it's going to cost a lot more than that to fit if it's some generic supercharger
also, factor in the cost of injectors, an ecu, and tuning costs... I bet you end up spending 2-3 times those figures, for way less power and way less torque than a turbo would bring.

Agreed, save the money, after you factor in all the extra costs - Power will not be near that of a turbo setup.
