aftermarket leads would possibly be WORSE than stock/oem ones.
Get OEM leads ot suit your engine

your best off just getting oem ones for your car
do you require new leads?
or just wish to get some?
you can do a test on your leads if you have a multi meter...

what should i be looking for when testing it? and also how should i test it with the multi meter?

First pull off the leads. Then test the ohms of each one. On my Integra it's 25 kohms at 68 degrees F (20 deg C). See here (http://www.strathlan.com/CMS/images/Manuals/Ignwirestest.jpg).

due to the per metre measurement of resistance, i'm assuming that reading was thereabouts for each one?

but yeah anything 5000ohm upward is rooted and replacing that is the only time you actually get "gains".

Yes that was per cable not a total.
