To be honest I wouldn't even consider 17s on a da9. Get the lightest wheels that look half decent. I have 15s on mine and they look plenty big enough and they're a shit load lighter than 17s so I didn't have to make any sacrifices in perfromance.

^^
True i have 16'' on mine looks pretty sweet. i was told by the insurane company as well that i can only go 2'' bigger than stock.

gumbs... i honestly get wat ya mean... but ive got 15s on mine atm... wayy too small... i considered 16s for a long time... but after the lip work that im gettin done... ill still have some space. light weight 17s seem like the perfect option for me.
izy-10.. yeah my car is way beyond insurance companies insuring me... 17s wont make any diff now.

i agree, 15's or 16s or max. i feel that with this type of car a larger wheel with lowered suspension is a way to hard ride. Unless your car does mainly freeway driving and shows, i wouldnt exceed those sizes.

i say lightweight 17s.. would be max size
but i definately feel the difference in steering and handling in heavy weight 17s.. sux !

Each to his own. Light weight 17s don't come cheap though, but admittedly they do look good, I hate the way my car goes down low enough without adding extra weight to the rolling stock.

i had 17's then went to 16's what i currently got petter handeling also coz you got thicker tyres
