G'day all,
I'm picking up a set of fat fives from JDMTOY on the weekend. Basicly i'd just like to check that i can use my standard civic wheel nuts with the new wheels?
Thanks

Yes. Standard wheel nuts are fine (acorn style) for most standard wheels.
You get "tapered" nuts such as buddy club or rays etc for aftermarket rims
correct ^ this guy knows his stuff
also make sure u torque them down correctly.

I have an EK1 and I torque my nuts upto 75lbsft (wheelnuts that is!:p ). I think in the service manual somewhere it mentions to torque them upto 80lbsft. And I think that if you use an extention you add another 5lbsft onto your dialled in value. Are these values correct?
Also, it is a good idea to recheck the torque once you take it for a short drive.
