just got curious in the middle of listening to lectures (it happens)... how much is it for a frankenstein? B16a/B20B? i heard B20s go for really cheap cos not many ppl wanted them b4, around 900 bucks a pop... add to that i already got a B16A head... and maybe 1k in labor... and another 1k for all those miscellaneous gremlins.... would 3000 bucks be enough? hahaha if so i'm saving up now

To me it’s for people that can do there own labour other wise you are better off with an ITR engine

Labour is the real killer with this engine. Parts are relatively cheep but engine will need sleeving and a rebuild to take abuse. I could go on and on as I’m in the process of doing lots and lots of research but the real people to talk to are Dyno Dave, Tinkerbell and ALLMTR. As they have worked on and owned these engines.

It’s not a path I would go down without a mechanic in the family or a close friend that is one (lucky my dad is one hehehe :D)

wow... never knew it was that expenisve.... if its say... 8000 for a averagely done one....... 8000 + 16000>>ISH<< i'll get for selling my car... .... = DC2R complete package with handling already there :shock:

yeah sometimes modding an average car just isn't worth it over buying a higher spec/model car. sometimes it is.
