Teg Vs. N/A S13 (NOT a kill story)

ok ok, i know. this is another "would a (insert Car A) beat a (insert Car B) question..... i've asked it before (i think spunky and setanta answered that post, lol) a long time ago, but now my mates actually getting his little '93 Silvia Q (auto). He claims he'll (quote) "eat" my manual gsi or fried's vtir. Now im not interested in a verbal pissing contest, however ive been looking for non-turbo s13 specs and haven't been able to find any. i'd like a verdict and reasons for which car(s) would be faster off the mark or over the 1/4. My nissan lovin mate reckons an auto is faster off the mark and over a decent distance (lets say a few 100m off lights). I dont believe this for a second but can't back it up with any technical info or reasons. I dunno bout my gsi but id be dead certain a teg vtir would beat an auto N/A silvia. Please help me out and give me some solid info, not just one sentence dribble... :P Just tell me which car's faster and WHY. any sites or links would also be appreciated.

2. Manuals in the majority of cases outlaunch auto's (provided you don't sit there in wheel spin). As an example, I can outlaunch my mates vti-r prelude which is an auto, in my EG Si

Check out www.carsales.com.au I have done lots of research there before on cars, you just need to know the model and what year it was released and it gives you all the specs on the car.

thanks to those that contributed DECENT input.... (and not the retards that bagged out turbos and nissans... didnt really post to hear dribble, as previously mentioned). Well good to hear both the tegs SHOULD win, will have to see on the road when it finally happens i spose. Wasn't trying to paper race, just wanted to get a vague idea. Anyone got silvia s13 specs? cant find much, and all the ones ive found are conflicting.

p.s: he's getting an auto s13 Q purely because he has no idea whatsoever. we're all trying to convince him to get one cos if he somehow gets his hands on a K (which he'll ALSO buy AUTO), we'll probably have one less friend to hang out with and im not too good with writing eulogies... :roll: )

well i met joneblaze n fried today, fried has a vtir teg, i got a vtir ek4, which one will win?? just a question becoz we brought it up but not quite sure, teg's got more kw's and more torque, i dunno how much either car weighs either.. both stock as a rock ~

stock vs stock, it's an incredibly close afair. up to about 100 it comes down to the driver, above that and the integra has a slight advantage.

once you start playing with exhausts and intakes, it's a totally different story. the integra is substantially quicker with bolt on mods.

my bro chopped a manual SR20DE in his DA9 LS (http://www.integrated.org.au/igs/) so a GSi should have no probs :D

SR20DE has 105kw and weighs 1250kg's. It would be pretty close to a GSI but the VTIR will definitely win. SR20DET has 147kw and weighs 1300kg's. A stock DC2R will beat a stock SR20DET (silviaK).
