Hi, i'm still new with honda jazz, i've lowered my car, got all 4 king springs from Pedders and got it compressed too, now i need to change with a new shocker as the current ones is making a lot of cranking noises when i drive, it doesnt sound good, can anyone tell me which Shockers shuld i get? i know Koni does sell 'em but the quite pricey...thanks

koni doesnt make any for jazz.... from wat i know the only one u can get that uses oem type spring (including king spring) is spoon dampers....

rather than getting just a replacement damper + spring, might as well get the fully adjustable coilover as the price wont b that much different...

u'll be looking at well over $2000 for coilovers pretty easily

make sure its ur shocks that are making the noise

with lowered springs sometimes its just the store that put them in. maybe its not sitting perfect

my lowered springs on my prelude made heaps of creaking noise. i took it back to the store and they just twisted the springs until it sat perfect with the shocks. creaking noise disappeared

it could also be the springs settling thats making the noise. dun get coilovers as yet. wait until the springs settled and see how it goes

Sounds to me like someone forgot to put the rubbers back on the springs? mines lowered with standard shocks, no noises or troubles at all. People say to me, youll need to change your shocks to lower it...... thats crap. Ill change em when they die. :) if i get a year out of them then thats a year i didnt need to fork out the $

well you should see my car as the sound is realy sick, its got the rubbers back, but its because i lowered it too low and atm the car is only sitting on the shocker, i will need a shorter shocker for it as there is a gap where the springs sitting on the shockers...all 4s of them...the car is brand new, 06 model just had it for 2 months...
