umm, put the clutch in and change gear?
Focus on engaging and disengaging the clutch (including gas on/off) fast. Dont worry about the gear shift just yet. Alot of people change the shfiter faster than chuck norris, but forget there left foot is on the clutch for too long causing the slow shifts.
practice=perfect:thumbsup:

i don''t have those problems, basicly what i want to know is, if you want to shift at 8000rpm, when to clutch in, cos mine from 7500 to 8500 it is like really fast, i could not really shift at the rpm which i want, cos when you driving you have to watch the road as well. this is what happen to me , first gear got in vtec move my eye to the road then one second later when i put my eye back on cluster, it is already 8400 something, sometimes just got into fuel cut point

Shift light .... easy to see and not take your eyes off the road.

Dont practice consistant 8krpm shifts on public rds, you're not only endangering yourself, but other ppl!
If you're to practice this, do so in a safe area or better still, go to the track and do it in a safe environment.
Making a thread about how you can shift better isnt gonna teach u anything, practice, DOES make things perfect :)
