i think the only thing worth doing is ripping out all ur stock air intake setup and replacing it with a proffessionally installed CAI kit, like apexi or something

dont replace ur beautiful stok setup with some cheap DIY crap were u got the parts from bunnings and superglued them in ur backyard...lol

dont bother with a new panel filter, its all bs, IMHO, ull hardly notice a difference

also chek the above sticky, you will find it useful, i certainly did....

dont have a jazz

havent done it to my car either

the apexi set up (or any other brand for that matter) that has been properly done will be the only way youll get some MINOR increase in performance

panel filters are a waste of time

to get a proper CAI setup on a jazz, youll do all sorts of nasty shit to ur engine, yool be ripping out alot of boxes and shit and replacing it with the CAI

all this engine work will most likely void ur warranty, so i think, dont even bother, its too risky

the stock air intake set up u have now, is a panel filter siting ontop of the engine, a pipe running from the panel filter to an airbox, then another pipe running to the side of ur engine that is opened, thats the intake

now for a CAI, yool have to rip alllll of that out and replace it with the CAI's parts, can u start to picture how messy this may be?

u can of course leave the stok setup, lengthen the stock intake pipe, lead it down to ur front bumper and stick a pod on. this is more tricky and there may not be enuf room for a pod deeper in the engine bay, so u may have to start cutting up some more shit

now for all that shit, chances are u will not even feel a difference in power, u wont feel ur car is faster, maybe there will be subtle changes, BUT they are not major

now think, is it really worth all that trouble to get maybe 0.5kw out of it?

sorry for long post,lol

HSV too expensive to run...petrol kills...especially the LS2 6.0L that's a killa...also since the car will be taken out to the service get the front bodykit repair and get the whole car repaint (coz some dickheads keyed/scratch the whole body) that look really ugly now...

^ as i said there are differences in opinion

and no claymore.......i am not just making posts, coz i woodnt have bothered writing all that shit down, i could have just said some useless crap and still increased my post count....

the point is...ive done this research already for my civic, and i think all those breathing mods are GAY....but that is my opinion, ive been in a civic like mine with a CAI and the difference was not noticable, therfore i think breathing mods are gay

and wen u do start ripping shit out of ur engine, the dealer will have a cry if something else ***s up, heel be like, the engine ***ed up becoz of the gay breathing mods youv done to it

and the dealer will tell you to piss off and that the damage is not covered under warranty....but that is my opinion, i woodnt risk it for such a small gain

im not just trying to beef up my post count.......

Okay guys, chill for a bit, share the Honda love yO... =P

UBH320 - Yes you can have an Air Intake installed onto your car, any car can, but the problem is what you want out of it and is it legal or not... Check the threads below, its generic and doesn't apply only to one model, it applies to all...

Airbox or Cold Air Intake - http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42177
Legality of Pod Filters - http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51069&highlight=Airbox
Same sort as above - http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49702&highlight=Airbox
Standard Airbox - http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48329&highlight=Airbox

Hope that helps you...
