maybe your granny shifting?
lol.
serisouly dude, ripping 2nd's doens't mean your tyres are good or bad.
if you used to, your old tyres were shit or bald.
but if your driving the same, and it grabs and goes, then it's good. more traction.

unless you clutch has shit itself.
lol.

you know what's shit tyres? my mate has a 91 corolla, shit thing it is.. lol, has shit tyres, and chirp going into third gear, if you want something like that, go get a cheap nasty brand e.g. wan lee's lol, or a set of retreads.

It’s clearly that he’s experiencing wheel hopping which is way worse than wheel spinning or “screeching”. Can you launch your car hard in the first gear? Does it wheel spin or hopping?

 give the guy a break... he just want to be cool.

Cheapest way to get rid of the annoying wheel hop is to get an engine damper.

Potenza RE010's with stock 15" Enkei's

If you move to a 16" wheel you have many more options

Alright stop making fun of the guy.
For your info, 'pulling seconds' seems to be almost impossible on hydrolic clutches in hondas. It took me a few times to notices and speak with other honda drivers. The good thing though is that with hondas your car just jumps forward rather than, pulling seconds, so its better cos you actually go faster rather than jsut making noises.

Its got nothing to do with your tyres.
