Up there with Peter Brock's "Energy Polariser" IMO. :D

I think Peter was on the "crystals a bit too much in the '80s :D:D:D

Its not a polariser... its basically an electric supercharger. The polariser was non-mechanical.

This thing will work, but the power it can deliver probably won't be anything amazing and its weight plus the batteries will also detract from performance.

Its actually not Forced induction at all... hence the reason why i posted in the NA section... Its another "motor" that replaces your alternator and seposedly gives you more power directly to the crank. In essense its a hybrid motor like those used by the honda insight or toyata preus (what ever it is, i dont really care Combustion all the way) except this engine is suposedly super powerful and is enguaged at the same time as the engine releasing the load on the engine... basicly you have to motors going at once pushing the same crank.

Now I know I've seen some DAMN fast electric cars... for what they are... and perhaps one day this sort of technology will be available but i dont think it'll be available just yet... its too soon i think.

I dont really see it giving much power through a belt! It may take some stress out of the crank but thats about it.

As pointed out by others - its the placebo effect in motion.

It's called an analogy :P

wait doesnt it basically perform the function of a mouse wheel, with a rat in it, and then the rat runs, and the belt connects the wheel to anoother wheel? thats ridiculous...and how the hell does it increaes PSI?

looks pretty stupid :P

Just read it, its pretty self explanitory.

Its a 2 way alternator

when crusing it works as a generator taking away power from a belt attached to the crank

when accelerating it works as an electric motor adding power with a belt attached to the crank.

Well champ I should have made myself clearer, its more than likely worse than a polariser, because people will actually think this does something, the analogy was taken for granted.

My friend really does belive every word of it. He said if had a teg it'd be the first thing he'd buy. His money, i dont care.
