Hi all,

came across a quick solution to a problem i've been having with my 06 civic so i thought i'd share it. essentially, ever since i had the car the driver's door required a lot of force to close, honda tried to fix it at 1000km but didn't succeed.

found the problem last night, there's a black screw-type rubber stopper near the door latch, you just simply turn it clockwise so it goes in a bit more and it'll let your door close more easily. there are i think 2 of these for each door, and similar (but taller) ones for the boot.

the above pic shows the stopper fully in (top left), one revolution out (bottom left) and completely out (right). just screw/unscrew it with your fingers, don't try to pull it out perpendicularly by force :)

Yeh I already knew it. The same also applies to the bonnet.
