My door lock on driver side is a bit stuck. Whenever i open the/close the door using the remote on the key, the lock just stuck. It seems that there's something prevent the lock being closed or opened. So i have to close or open it manually. Few weeks ago the dealer installed the felt on my front windows because of the scratched tints. Is it because of that?

sounds like the lock actuator is not connected properly. take it back to the dealer and get them to fix it up.

u could probably do it yourself within half an hour. Take off the door trim and make sure the actuator connector is plugged into the actuator properly down below, and check the lock mechanism above, ensure its seated properly and nothing has come loose.

i had the same problem when my car tint was redone (due to scratch), they forgot to connect the actuator like eurodude said. the service guy from honda came to my work, and fix the car on the spot. took around 1/2 hr.

thanks for that eurodude.

I'm gonna take mine out and check the lock mechanism etc. My door will somtimes lock istelf when the drivers door is shut and the key is in. I have a feeling when I had my stereo equipment removed they didnt put something together quite right.

Daniel;

Your dealer did the job, your car is still under warranty... Go claim it from the dealer!! :D

Yep similar situation with my Euro - the Tinters forgot to secure the rear middle brake light, so I took it back to the dealer and they fixed it up for me.
