IMO get whiteline front n rear swaybars....it includes reinforcement which is needed.
The EK9 rear bar needs custom reinforcement and will likely end up a more expensive package

Better to buy aftermarket one.

sway bar is a sway bar...

however ek9 isnt a bolt on affair.. and as mentioned will require reinforcement unless u have a CTR/ITR

So i will move towards aftermarket.

leave the front bar stock, and get an aftermarket bar for the rear... might as well get rid of some of that understeer

and a sway bar isn't a sway bar... they vary in size, adjustability, mounting, etc... they're not all created equal

cheapest option would be whiteline.

just wondering with regards with tearing the sub-frame. i heard this is quiet common with the whiteline. how is it with the ek9 sway?

The EK9 swaybar measures 22mm, vs standard (ek4) which is i believe 14-16mm.

If you want to be on the safe side you will have to consider getting some sort of subframe bracing to avoid consequences like on the link above.

As for your question, indeed if you want a direct bolt on, aftermarket would be the way to go as mentioned.
