Hey guys,

I just followed the very informative article on how to clean my iacv to solve bad idle.

While i was at it, using carby/efi cleaner from supercrap, i also cleaned all the gunk from my throttle body. I wiped most of it off but i expect some blew threw into the intake manifold.

The problem is, when i started my car, it blew smoke. Lots of smoke. White smoke.

I only ran it for about 30secs-1min but it was blowing smoke the whole time, and it didnt seem to be subsiding.

is this normal?

if not, any idea as to what i may have done wrong?

Cheers

Step 10: Let the car idle it will blow abit of smoke at first and sound abit rough.Once the cleaner has been passed through it will idle smoother and you will notice the difference.I ran mine for about 5 mins.

maybe this will help
