hi, you would be looking at a d17
and its a sohc non vtec

88kw at 6xxxrpm.

i had one of those cars, (make sure he gets an 04-05 with the headlight/tailight upgrade[the latest 7th gens look sexier imo])

SOHC non vtec is D17Z1 (88kw), the VI hatch SOHCs is D17Z2 (with a wopping 96kw@6300rpm).. face lift 7th gen look much better like what rhk saids! peace! :)

nah its a good car

20k is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much for 2nd hand 04 model

i got my 05 model brand new for 22k

dont get the automatic, its shit, the manual is sexy, great gearbox, the car moves very fast for such a small amount of power

yes, d17 is correct, 1.7l 4cyl, non-vtec, SOHC

no, not really, as always honda has produced another high quality and reliable car

the only issue with the auto, is possibly response, but i suppose all autos are gay in that sense

it she can learn the manual she wont regret it, the auto doesnt give in bang wen u really need it, but u can really thrash the manual and itll move, dont u worry bout that

i have an 05 manual, keeps up with traffic well but don't try racing too many cars, as the little 1.7 cuts out at 7100rpm, hehehe.
