window tinting question

i heard dat if u get pulled ova and dey wanna defect you for ur tints den just say that u got ur car like that...
and becuz ur car is a 90 model, they cant do anything becuz the law of tinting windows too dark was intrduced in 94...

^^^^^ is that true that if ur car is made b4 '94 it's legal to had below 35%?

yes and it is illigal to put them on any car but the rule only got enforced in 1994
only reson your allowed to get away with it is if you have had them on since 1994 but there is no way of proving that
so you can do it and get away with it no worries

20% is ok dude, cops wont hassel u at all unless ur cars heavily modded and they pull u over for hooning and start to go through all the defects.

20% is passable if you claim it has been on the car since 1994. Car window tint places normally charge extra for darker/illegal tint.

That said, I am using 20%.

Also, this stuff is a good investment against smash & grabs :D

^^ Yes. It is however illegal in most states. Mirror tint is also illegal but I use it anyway :D

In Melb down in Campbellfield once i saw some white coupe thing with "ice windows" looked sooooooo good. Sitting next to the car at the lights, couldnt see a thing through the windows..
