i can't be certain. but the article says they bought out Midlands
but apart from that doesn't really mention much else
Prior to last weekend, few but the hardened car enthusiast knew the name Spyker. All that has changed, however, after the company’s purchase of the Midland team, making the Dutch sportscar maker the latest auto manufacturer to enter Formula One racing. But the Spyker name is far from new to motorsport - indeed its involvement in racing dates back almost a century.

yeh i heard that company bought mf1 wen i was watching monza, apparently they paid $10mil US for it... theyre gonna hav to pour alot more than that into it tho if they wanna make the team competitve...

actually they paid around $106mil US. and you're right vinnie.. they need to pour HEAPS of money in

duno if any teams will be dropping out but currently Spyker Midland run toyota engines. but since toyota is supplying engines for Williams next year, they might change suppliers

spyker build there own car the c8 and c8s. they i believe will make there own engines. the company is owned buy numorous dutch multi millionair car enthusiasts

They are an airline company I'm sure of it.
They have also signed Klien for next year (rumor has it)
I have only ever seen one of there cars and it was at Le Mans!

no just a car company as i have stated. used a chev motor in their 1st car now building their own in house

They were an airline company back in the days.... Now some dude bought the name Spyker and started building cars.... (Spyker also built cars while they were building planes, they entered in the Pekeng to Paris endurance crap too)

the current spyker is completely unrelated to the old car/airline company the only similarity is the name, the original company that ran the airline company and car copmany was realy spijker and branded as spyker to overseas markets
