tyre profile???

hi guys
well my rims are on the way. i have been waiting for g-games 99b rims for over 10 weeks. only thing is, when they arrive i am not 100% what way to go with tyres.
at the moment i have bridgestone pontenza s-03. and am happy with them. should i change brands with the new rim? have been quoted $400 each for 18inch rims. does that sound right?
also not sure what profile to go. 40 or 35?? and then theres the width problem. the rims are front 18x7.5 back 18x8.5. what trye size would suit?

since the new S2000 is running F: 17x7 (215/45/17) and R: 17x8.5 (245/40/17), its not much different to the one you are using so i guess its better using F: 215/40/18 and R: 245/35/18 so the rolling diameter is the same..................

cheers, had not thought of it that way. do you have any opinion on what tyre is the best? happy to pay top dollar, but want good value as well
