Honda accord Type R?

hi all,
Just saw a honda accord type R in Wangaratta, but havn't seen one before and can't find 1 for sale, are these only imports?

P.S to the Guys we saw in wang on the weekend, nice rides.:wave:

UK had the Accord Type R. In Japan, they were slightly smaller and called the EuroR instead. Both had h22a's in them. And yes, import only.

Nah, the Type R he saw was probably the UK Accord Type R. If it was JDM, it would say EuroR instead and it would be a CL1. You can't get a CL7 here. SEVS does not allow it.

SEVS doesnt allow any accord to be imported, so whatever you saw would have to be a personal import (ie live overseas while owning the car for at least 12 months, and bringing it back with you).

I don't think we got that shape of Accord locally. We got the US-built Accord instead of the japan or uk-built one.

hi, yeah it wasn't a euro, atleast i didn't have a euro badge at all just had the accord type R, was damn nice also had limted Edition on it, he might even be a member here, his mate had a white teg and he is a member.

Was cool finding melbourne Ozhonda members in my small country town of wangaratta.
