Any one know the the ignition lead resistances should be?

Ive had a problem with really crappy rough idle and poor burn for the first 5-10 mins of running for a while now. I replaced my plugs with NGK Iridiums and it made the problem worse, except the car starts first shot. Im thinking leads. I measure the resistance in them and they are all over the place.

Any idea on cost also? Pretty sure you can only use genuine honda as they have the long stalks on the end that go down thru the rocker cover.

Cheers folks.

About 25k ohms max.

About 25k ohms max.

hmm what about this then, the values for each of the 4 leads and cylinder.

1 = 25Kohm
2 = 12Kohm
3 = 3Kohm
4 = 2.5Kohm

The lower the resistance (NGK leads are 8k ohms/m compared to 16 ohms/m for common leads) the better superior conductivity.

There are plenty of branded leads out there, just remember is not how thick that makes it better is how much lower the resistance a lead can do.
