I've recently installed a rebuilt P72 head (courtesy of dynodave), this head has had the following done to it:

Valve job
Combustion chambers
Mild porting
'96 model ITR Valvetrain
Skunk2 IM
Hondata
Dynodave 4-2-1 headerFor the moment i'll have to leave you with peak outputs, as the dyno printer no worky. I had a baseline run -from the previous week- of 109kw, and finished up with 121kw, with very solid gains from 5000rpm and upwards.
Considering the age of the bottom end (255,000km), thats not a bad figure.

It would be interesting to see this head stuck on a fresh block, as mine is due for new rings.

I say the results are quite encouraging.

Yes tuned with S200 Hondata took around 5hrs of tuning and playing with cam timing,so stay tuned more to come very soon with this setup.

It would be interesting to see this head stuck on a tinkerbell's B20, as mine is due for new rings.

fixed ;)

PS - just take a digital picture of the dyno screen. it is what i should have done when i was there last, can you take pics next time you are there for mine and send them to me?

I did that, but the thing is unreadable... They've got the printer sitting in a box there, so hopefully this week we'll have the proper printout.

can you print out mine too please?

you can usually save printouts as files (bmp, jpg), well you can on a mainline, not sure what the deal is on a dynodynamics.

Might be worth looking into (or even a screen capture)

the worked head alone might be valued at $2k?

retail probably. So all up with "no hook ups" this 12kw ATW could be about $4k incl. tuning etc. On a b18c7 would you can say it gets much harder and more $$$ to pull kw's out of , than say $4k on a lesser motor.
Not knocking the work done here ~ impressive ~ but everyone should be happy with minor mods or be prepared to spend big time :)

I've seen plenty of people fork out way more more money for far less gain :)

rofl yes...but tell us the $ dude so we can compare for "12kw ATW" :) instead of guessing of "retail" worth of parts and labour

I have never and will never quote prices on forum sites,if someone wants a price for this type of work e-mail myself or Slim.Tofu-R has alot less work in the cylinder head I did for his car as it only has valve seats and combustion chambers reworked, for 99% of the cars on the street this is the best setup as it gives very good power gains and great throttle response.
