mmm. id say, conservatively, 8seconds, and mid 15's - 16's .
14 is damn quick! haha.

so yeh, base it on that,!. alot comes down to driver ability tho.

High 15s to 16s - I don't care what Honda says - they state my SiR does 15.3, in reality it does 15.6 - the EK4s are a LOT heavier than the EF9 - especially with ABS and airbags etc onboard. high 7's to 100 if not 8s for the EK4.

When ALLMTR was running the B16A in his 3rd gen civic he was cracking into the 14s, that's in a 800 kilo car. You can't tell me a EK4 (or EM1) has even close to that power to weight ratio. In the US, they drop a B16A into a ED6 (4th gen hatch) which has 80-100 kilos in weight less than the EF9 and just break into the 14s if they are lucky (DX minimalist civic) - usually it's closer to 15.2 (EX or Si).

Hot4's Nov '99 issue.
EM1 Vti-R
0-100 = 7.72
0-400 = 15.86
(times recorded using G-Tech timer)

i'd say 8's & 16's give or take 0.5 depending on driver.

Edit, new info added
Motor Magazine December 1999
EM1 Vti-R
0-100 = 8.88
0-400 = 16.31

Motor Magazine July 1997 (Cardata)
EK Vti-R
0-100 = 7.6
0-400 = 15.68

Id say those times are good (but def possible) for a VTi-R ..... but as you say - 8 and 16 are roughly about right.

Vtir
0-100km/h
around 7 sec...(best time, 6.89sec)
0-400m...
15.6sec..(best time , 15.26sec)

CTR
0-100km/h
6.7sec (best time 6.3sec)
0-400m
low 15sec (best time reckon 14.8sec)

ITR
0-100km/h
6.2sec (best time 5.99sec)
0-400m
14.5sec (best time, 14.09)

i reckon that should be a fair time for all those cars......

do you guyz agree??...hm....i'm wondering..

don't think so dude...

is just like 20kg diff from ITR...
CTR has 185hp with 1.6 but diff cams than ITR...

ITR has 200hp wit 1.8...soo..torque wise...CTR loses...and HP as well..
