On my trip computer, the Average Speed reading never seems to reset, so its showing the average speed of my car since I bought it!
Is everyone else's the same, or have I missed something obvious?

once u reseted ur consumption thing the average speed reading should be reseted to 0...
but my average reading is always around 30~34 so its pretty hard to see...(as it averages out ur speed including the times when u r standstill at a traffic light or something. as long as the engine is on)

Mine is similar, it takes a long time to change. If you drive the same route everyday and rarely drive on high speed freeways, the speed may never change lol

Thanks guys.
Did a bit more investigation this morning. Yes it does work, but only on Trip Meter A not Trip Meter B for some odd reason. Since I had my "A" set to reset every time I fill up my tank, it was always hovering around the 34-36 mark, and resetting "B" did not change it.
Stupid me for thinking that there'd be an average speed reading for both A and B, when the average fuel consumption is different for each!
