Just a quick question guys.
I need to know what size socket to use on my hub nut (nut in the middle of your wheel nuts)
I looked in my US Helms manual for the size and it says 22 x 1.5mm and should be at 185 NM. A 22mm is way too small a socket to fit it??? I had a 24mm, even that was too small.
I need to know what size as i need to go purchase it so i can pop my axles out so i can tow my car!
Thanks guys.

Is it just 22 X 1.5 = 33mm??
Do i need a 33mm?

it is a 32mm. Its 134 ft/lbs to tighten...needs a nice big breaker bar (1/2 inch atleast...anything smaller WILL snap) and dont foget to unclip the groove on the nut before attempting.
Crack the nut while the car is stationary in gear (on the ground) with the tyre on to give it abit more grip.

Thanks Ben,
I'm unsure what you mean with unclipping the groove??
I can see the groove on the nut and on the spindle, but theres no clip or anything there...
So 32mm i need. I'll have to go buy one tomorrow or the next day.
I got a 1/2" breaker bar so i should be ok. Im pretty sure i got a pole that will fit over this bar too, so it will be easy.. otherwise ill stand on the bar.
Thanks again Ben +rep. So 100% its 32mm?

Yep 100% its 32mm. Took my nut of my mates SI a few weeks back. There is no clip - you have to hammer the bit that has been sqashed in till it comes out. We used a screwdriver and a hammer. Take you time. For more info download the civic manual from hondatech.com.au

If you have an impact and the socket the nut will come right off with out any trouble from the smashed part.
