well im getting this knocking sound when i press down my clutch, it happens when the car is in motion... u can hear it more clearly when the car is coming to a slow stop with the clutch pressed in. also when u press the clutch in to change gears.
I just got my inner cv boot replaced and i believe thats when the noise started, could this be linked somehow? and and my tranmission fluid was changed and brake fulid also both genuine

THe labour will kill you in cost (approx. 5-7 hrs work?)... about $250-400 worth.
THe thrust bearing itself only costs like $30-50...

I dont know, I'm not a mechanic. I merely regurgitate information I hear/learn like 95% of people of such forums. :)
PM bennjamin, he's got a ****ed thrust bearing atm, perhaps you could compare notes and come to a conclusion. :)
Also, I don't suppose it matters too much, but I take it you have a G3 Integra?

thrust bearing should only be a 4 hour job on a GSi,
can you feal the knock in the pedal when you push the clutch?
