That's just a straight strut assembly, nothing special but they might be a lowering setup as in a 1-1.5 inch drop. Good shock too. Bilstein is big here in the U.S. so clean them up and get the numbers so we can get you some info.

these are simply normal shocks , with adjustable spring perches ( like koni yellows)

You simply move the lower clip up or down (shown by those grooves in the shock) and the spring will drop/raise in those segmented heights

height adjustable shocks with springs. As many have stated, it's pretty much the same layout as koni's but with more height settings.

Depending on what most people's definition of "coilovers" are, these are about as close as it gets. And they definately not shitty "coilover sleeves".

simple. see the spring perch? you should be able to move that up, then you'll have a little clip under that perch. get some pliers, what have you, and then 'open' up the clip so that it is free to move up and down the shock body. then put the clip back into the groove and put the spring perch back on top. ur spring looks short so i suggest u install it first before making any decisions on spring clip adjustment

interesting - at the current setting the spring doesn't even touch the lower plate... how could it possibly go on the lowers perch?

there should be a clip like above...

Blisteins are super good suspension apparently.

maybe when u put them in the spring will fall down to place?

yeah as above they use a perch system..

Bilsteins are not damper adjsutable from memory..

they arent the best as you cant adjust them. But they are a really good solid shock..

From memory the strut piston is like crazy thick..

As long as u match these up to the right spring rate they should be really good

bilsteins are great...have them on my ride...one cool thing is they actually have a lifetime warranty and they advertise that they should never have to be rebuilt (unless you go rallying or something lol)

but yer i'm loving my bilstein shocks for road...
