A friend has a prelude (the pop up light one, so maybe a 1990 model?)

Anyway, 240,000km on it, engine runs very well, sunroof, all electrics, clean body/interior.

BUT, he drove it off a small cliff, and now the front wheel doesn't sit straight

Wondering what this could be and a rough guesstimate to fixing it?
I can change everything myself, not sure about crossmember though, also worried maybe chassis is bent? Can that be possible?

I offered him 500-600 for the car, and he said he would think about it. Realistically if I fixed it up myself by buying 2nd hand arms etc how much could I sell the car for?

LOL  A CLIFF?
A 1990 model would usually be Gen3 series 2 Lude...

Yeah smallish type of cliff

Rain + honda = understeer

Do you know, if it was fixed up, how much it's value would be roughly?

check on trading post and carsales
that will give you an idea how much they go for.

my friend brought his for 4k about 3 years ago, sold it for like 2k to the dealership, then saw it for sale for 6.5k
haha

basically its the condition of it, will there still be rego by the time you fix it, consider little expense. it all adds up.

MANG.

1990 is mostly series 1's, the series 2 didnt come in until november 1990.

It could be very possible there is lots wrong with this, its sometimes expensive to find bits for 3rd gens too (see, most of the time).

Its proberbly not worth the risk to do it yourself, since prelude's with those km/condition only sell for 3-4,000 most of the time.
