The other day i took out my head unit to get the stacker fixed, and during this process i found the sunlight sensor. what is this for and how do i get it to work if it is to operate the headlights automatically. i had a look in the hand book and it wasnt much help. :confused:

It's for controlling the climate control air temp. Say the outside temp is 25C, and your in cabin is 25C. When you drive in the shade, the climate control will just blow out air without the compressor on. But if you drive in the sun, it'll blow out colder air (compressor on + high flow) to compensate for the heat of the sunlight.
