I agree, what, how many?

I've got a pair of 12's but still manage to keep a bit of boost space. They sit in the corners just in front of the taillights. I'll go take a photo tonite and post it up

I used to have a custom box holding 2x 12' subs which fit snuggly between the two strut towers - snug enough that it wouldn't move forward or backward without a good amount of force.

Yeah blitz, that looks wicked dude, looks like it aint taking up space at all! lol

My only concern is the actual box for it? looks a lil too small, specially for typeRs!

the boxes are a little over a cubic foot each if i remember right, perfect size for Type-R's ;)

You know very well they're about a cubic foot :)

They're also filled with dacron, in any event they sound pretty good, and loud wen you need to...

Thanks for all your comments and in reply to LUD02C particular question on the enclosures:

They're fibreglass with MDF structure and support

They were done by BDL Fyshwick here in Canberra, can't remember the cost exactly, but prob around $300-$400 each (I got it with all the stereo gear, so a deal was done on the price).

They are, as others have pointed out, 2 - 12" Apline Type-R's. As for the amp running them Poid has a better idea of my system than me. Some big 2 channel Alpine amp, can't remember the model no. for the life of me.
