car got towed

i just got my car towed from alpha st blacktown ,the car died on me and tried jump starting it now the car wont turn on ,it tries turning on but no lights on the dash light up or anything thinking its an electrical problem or the timing belt or something thats what my mate said and also my power windows have no power but my indicators and headlights work perfectly,anyone got a clue of wats hapening? thanks

edit:and also this morning when i was heading to work i turned my car on and noticed the SRS lit up while i was reversing out and my engine light lit up also i waited 4 a second the nit turned off :Smy it was a warning lol

i have no idea.....
but maybe an improper jump start? how did you jump start? positive and negative on battery terminal? i know with my itr and most newer cars negative should not be placed on battery negative as it can short out the computer or some other electrical problem. Dont know if that's the case but just a thought.

ye htried jump starting it dindt work i tried starting it down the hill it workd but car died right after slowing down and pressing the clutch in

ok well my car died on me a few months ago and lights/indicators worked but nothing else.. then after some attempts to clutch start it nothing worked.. charged my battery all night then it worked the next day..

this happened to me and all i did was buy a new battery and got a new negative cable for the battery and got some good battery terminals. dont know what it was but might've had sumthin to do wit the contacts and now it all works.

i found out it was my alarm its effecting my indicators on the dash and wont start the car had a auto electrition check it out goto go get my alarm serviced i think :S

Its not Dumb.

Did you try another battery, try cleaning your battery terminals, remove them clean the contacts and put them back on.
a flat battery and a car alarm are a bad combination

It sounds like you have blown the main battery or ignition fuse located in the under hood fuse relay box should be around the 60 to 80 amp rating

yep got my new alarm installed it was the chaty alarm that was in my car be4 got a new one now for $499 wora waste of money but its ment to be a good alarm :)
