A Brisbane dealer has ads about Euro Sport in local papers. Manual for $35990 plus on road cost. There is also bonus 5 yr extended warranty for grab.

It's very cheap if it's a Demo and Extremely Cheap if it was brand new. You'll be lucky to get a Standard Euro manual for $32K. I paid way more than that for me sport :(

if the event that there are no more euro sports left, what would the insurance company do, if a sports model is written off, and they have a 1 to 1 new car replacement policy?

it was new! like i said dealers are very motivated to sell, i learnt a few things from my mates brother who owns a dealership on the sunny coast. he sold his brother a new astra, sports susp, rims, bose stereo.... he got that for $24G's and they still made some cash on it.... the mark up is quite large, and thats why they will sell for much less

You must know something most car buyers dont.. I offered a dealer $37K for a manual sports, no accessories and they said No..! All I can say is you must doing something real special :) Also, was that the price including a trade in?

That's $35,990 Excluding Registration, Stamp Duty, 3rd Party Compulsary and Dealer Delivery (Driveaway RRP was $40,305). $37K was asking for Drive Away price. Also, my offer of $37k was negged by the Sales Manager, not by the saleman. I'm guessing the price of $34K was the price they built into your trade in, or maybe you just have very pretty GF :p

nah if they put my trade into the price it would have only been about 20G's....
haha and my gf wasnt there when i bought it, just had a mate with me. i dont understand why they didnt take the offer, maybe they had someone else interested at full price??
there was a thing on tv a while ago, some home improvement show thing, and they taught a chick how to get a car for cheaper, she want a lancer VR-X, they are about $28K (from memory) and she got it drive away for $24990.... so it just goes to show if you know what to say youll come away better (or maybe she just had big ****, cant remember) haha
clowdz, what dealer did you try in perth?

If you are not complaining about the dealer, then you can post it up here. The rule is just to prevent dealers from sueing Ozhonda for defamation. If it is neutral or good, you can post it.

i'm sorry to say but the dealers don't make absolute shitloads on your sale at all..a 20k car is worth about 3k for the dealer...
alot of money is made through the service department.
normally a car that is say 40g + on roads can be had by the right haggler for about 39-39.5g driveaway.
i don't believe 32g driveaway as honda Australia don't normally offer bonuses.
$35,990 + onroads which comes to about 39,000, maybe if you said it was 35-35.5g driveaway it would sound more believable.
