Are you referring to a DC2 VTiR and a DC5 Base model?
In that case there is alot more aftermarket support/items for the DC2 atm, and IMO it is more aggressive, both in performance (EDIT: maybe not... :P) and looks.

well..i have the dc5...(auto) and have raced with a vti-r...
the vti-r are faster...because i'm an auto..stupid me
but honestly i still hang with them.
the vti-r i raced was stock and i think driver wasn't that good

but as for the dc2r and dc5r...
i've driven both and i have to say i like the dc2r better in terms of performance..
but dc5r is more refined..but still raw

i'm talking about the integra Type R (DC2 VS DC5), which one better?
and what's the different between VTEC and i-VTEC?
some people said VTEC is better but some other not.
i'm totally blank about honda and their VTEC stuff.
thanks for your help guys

can't really say this is is "BETTER" depends what you want the car for.... around the track, i believe the dc2r is a tad faster... as for the difference between vtec/i-vtec, there have been many pages posted regarding the topic, search is your friend :D

Better yet...Read the "why vtec is better then vvti" thread and in there it explains the difference between vtec anc i-vtec

if you are looking at bolting on simple mods then getting a tune, i reckon the dc5r since apparently it responds better to mods?

It certainly does :P.

The only time I dont like iVTEC is when im dynoing the car. I just want the most aggressive timing and fuel map possible! Damn learning ECU's.
