hey guys got some new rims,
4x100 multistud.
anyways i realised the holes for these dont fit my original wheel nuts? i think the OEM honda nuts are 1.5? so im guessing these ones are smaller, but will these smaller nuts fit onto my brake calipers ( i duno the name for it, the 4 stud that comes out of my brake)? and where i get some these nuts

Your brake calipers are the things that people paint red and blue that push your pads onto the disc.

I think the things you are talking about are your lugs/lug nuts.

So your wheel nuts wont tighten up for your wheel or the holes on the wheels wont line up with your bolts?

Are the studs too short??? Or don't the holes line up???

the nuts r too big and wont fit into the hole.
i just went to bob jane and they said to use pin nuts to fix my problem.
$2.5 a nute...thats 40 bucks i might go get some ray nuts?

buy the red ones in the fs forum, they should fit, unless you have that much money to burn heh

Did you buy the rims from a retailer or private sale?

I've bought a couple of sets of rims this year (both times from JAX) and each time, they've given lug nuts to suit as well as security lock nuts.

yeah had same problem. You can buy the allen key type ones from most wheel places for about $2 each nut. Only prob is they break easily and cause problems.

I brought a set from Autobarn which has a overkey which is much better than the allenkey ones. Paid $50 for the set. And won't break on you

There was a pic Danny had some for sale if he still has the pic or goto Autobarn and they have them in stock. Cheaper than the rays sets.

I've had mine for like 7yrs now and they haven't had any problems (kept them when i sold my car and used them on current car)

cheers buddy! hope these solves my problems!

you know what these are called exactly?

i wouldnt mind searching for some on ebay 1st too

EDIT: the thread is 1.5 right? and diamater is 20mm? is that the right size?? for honda civic
are there any lock nuts available for this size?? or dont you need it since it requires a special tool to undo these nuts

like this?
