as stated.... i got a 5 lug conversion on my eg from a ek9 type r. Just wondering if it is necessary for me to upgrade my current master cylinder which is a ek series master cylinder and brake booster to a dc2r master cylinder and brake booster.

Will the ek master cylinder/booster be able to handle the conversion?

thanks
royce

To get the most out of the setup you will need to change the MC and booster. If you dont your pedal will have to travel further and you will need to apply more pressure to get you car to pull up. MC/Booster is not that hard to change. Its only a couple of bolts. The only issue is space - its tricky getting the MC in and out.

if your car has abs it should be ok
because the mc bb is already upgraded to suit the abs, larger and holds more fluid
im running a ek coupe abs mc & bb works great in my eg
i would get the disc machined and get a good set of pads

if that ek mc bb was from a abs ek it should be fine
