between '02-'04, the foglight cover bit is different.
very slight changes...
biggest one i know of is the steerin wheel badge on the pre '04 is matt while the 04 is clear.

I don't think there were any important changes from 01-04 in terms of realibility and performance.

negative.
all dc5r pedals are the same.
even the jdm is even the same as ausdm.
stop giving us misleading info kevin. noob, lol
yeh... i dont think there are any differences... they(honda dealer) would say something...
even the JDM version, they only had 2 minor changes as at SEP-03 according to Hyper REv, which is 1- the shape of the key( similar to our Euro ones) 2- the colour of the rims. They had introduced this shining silver.
cheers
is there any common issue when buying dc5r that should look into?

The usual with all K series engine and transmission. Creaking clutch, difficulty shifting into 2nd gear, engine sound from oil starvation.

there have been a few changes internally in the gearbox and with the oil pumps in the motor.. the 2001 had a design fault in the oil pump which caused a few of the to die early.. not all of them had the bad pumps but a few have had them..
The gearbox has had a few various parts revised due to faults being found in most of the markets, with service bulletins being put out in the states.. I beleive this was only an issue with a few of the 2001-2002 models and was fixed early on aswell..

I heard somewhere there was a difference in Valve springs between the 02 and 03 model. Thats what i remember off the top of my head. Possibly off ClubRSX
