What I want to know is (please diect me to the appropriate link if this has been covered...I have looked) what model have I got? I know it's a EG model but I have seen EG6 EG9 etc ??? Also what engine code is mine? I know it's not the vtec (B16a) but mine is twin cam 1.6L ?? Hope you can help me out.

all the answerers are in your engine bay :)

your model code is in your VIN number.

ie. JHMEG5**********

your engine code is the first 4-5 characters of your engine number (characters before the dash)

ie. B16A2-, B18C5, B18C, D16A8 etc etc

Correct.
Check the VIN number. It will contain your chassis code..

it will say something like:
JHMEG5..........

And if you look down in your engine bay.. Look at the heat shield, just to the left of this stamped on the engine block facing upwards should be your engine code stamped on there.
