Quick question,
Where can I find the data link connector on a 2000 itr?
I tried looking for it but cannot find it anywhere. I was told around the passenger kick panel.
What I am trying to do is to scan e ECU for any error codes with a OBD2 scanner I recently brought. Its a 16pin adapter.

you could of saved the cash and found a spare un-insulated paper clip and used that instead like this

Hey Ben, ya, I got e scanner real cheap. $0.99 plus postage of $5.00. Thats why I brought it. I wanna be able to access e sub codes also. Do you know where e DLC is located?

I saw a dude hooked up to somewhere behind the centre console once in an ITR.Should be a 16pin connector with 4-5 wires connected.

He meant OBD II connector. It's in the driver's side foot well. Look up behind the dashboard and you'll see the connector on the side closest to the door

I was standing there talking to the guy,not paying much attention, but he definitely disconnected from behind the centre console, around where the cig lighter was.
