Noisy EJ

My EJ Civic Coupe is very noisy, even after few peices of Dynamat in the boot and 1 Dynamat Extremeliner in the footwell area.

Rev during stationery is okay, sounds normal but when driving the engine/exhaust drone at 2.5~3k RPM is driving me crazy. Rev after 4k and its sounds nice, 5k or more sound even nicer.

The engine and exhaust system looks stock to me.... my mechanic say its stock too.

I cant begin my ICE setup if I cannot get rid of the noise.... Any suggestions?

if ur serious about sound deadening, you're going to have to put dense as hell stuff in there, im talking like bitumen

Hehehe... I have my own way of making the car quieter, just dont work on this car...

currently I am toying with the idea of getting an Euro

maybe have a look at your tyres as well, even though it doesnt relate to engine, it still has a pretty big impact. my tyre noise is louder than my stereo most times.
