can u see if the rubber is actually cracked?

loose???? it should be all one piece, the middle rubber should be free of cracks,

if it occurs at a given rpm range then good chances its an engine mount

have u driven it hard lately? high rpm dump type launching???

buying a new mount is about 100-150....my front engine mount cost 140...
install/changeover is pretty easy

it sounds like an engine mount

how does the car feel???? does it still pull hard like it used to?

Could be Engine Mount or Inner CV is worn

no problemo mate:wave:
if he charges u 250 for the engine mount to be replaced dont think hes ripping u off, it is about a 100 for labour for a very accesable engine mount, ive also heard of my mate needing to almost drop his engine just to change his side one in his commo so i have no clue with ur application. someone else might be able to help u out if its a stupidly expensive task but i doubt it.

Balance & wheel align all your wheels(and check to see if there is uneven wear). If not it could be your bushings are worn.

where just the outter CV replaced ??

the inner CV joints cause this problem as well. most times they only need mo cv grease in them

engine mounts cost about 50-70bux depending on places. ring honbits, they'll have some. insetallation might be a bitch depending where it is.front ones are easy, rear one is abit more difficult.

insetallation? Shocking!
Well you know Bal... what can I say, you bought a Honda!

Can it then be a distributor issue?
Has your boyfriend got his CRX back? Maybe talk to Charlie see what it can be?
