4th Gen Sunroof

My sunroof is scratching the roof of my car. I've takin the sunroof off and found the problem is a broken guide. Does anyone know how to remove the tracks from the car??

is it a common prob that 4th gen like ours get rust in the sun roof around the seal?

a friend of mine has it in a very similar spot on our sroof??

Yep - it's a hot topic over on PA... I manually rust proofed mine to give me a couple more years of good service before I move over to a roof a little more exotic heheh

If you pay me I can do yours as well, it took me a few hours though hehehe... for now though you can eject water from the seals by spraying wd40 inside the seals

My problem is that when the sunroof is completly open it scratches the roof near the back of the opening of the sunroof! It just isnt sitting high enough to clear the roof!
