Hi guys, just wondering if relocating the front plate from its stock position to the front bumper is legal and if it is does anyone know where to get a relocator kit? I have tried eBay but apparently they don't cater for AU plates

I think you need to be bale to see it from a 45' degree on both sides.

well in melb i've had TMU officers suggest to relocate it to the side

a mate at vicroads said it can't stick out from the side of the car (like some of the drift boys do) and it has to be readable from approx 20m away. but like someone said it's better to check with authorities

doesn't mean shit unless u drive an evo

that's like getting dicked for a k20 swap in an EG and claiming "but integra's have them stock"

"but the new commodores have 18/19 inch rims stock"

"but toyota soarers have twin turbos"

etc etc

information from local authorities > info from random c*nts on ozhonda

yea i made some to go under indicators on my bumper, floppy as but no trouble.

i doubt the number plate would be a big issue anyhow.

Thanks again for all the helpful comments. I guess I'll have to scrap my earlier intention to put my new custom plates anywhere other than stock center ;) BTW, can I get a vote going? For a "panda" EK, do you guys think black fonts on white background or white fonts on black background? I've submitted my application for those slim line plates but I suppose I can request for a color change within the next 2-3 days. Currently, it's white on black. I am quite indifferent about either but I'd like to know what the general population thinks. Thank you
