SRS light

hey there guys.

my crv battery was died for months and got replace recently but the SRS light is ON after that.


should this be a simple ecu reseting to switch it off? or something major?
FYI, the car is clean not involved in an accident and the airbag is not deployed.

you cant just pull a fues to reset the ECU

you have to find the yellow SCS connector under the drivers dash

short the SCS turn the ignition on then the SRS light comes on unplug the SCS with in 4 seconds, the light will go out, then you short the SCS the light will come on then you unplug the SCS the light will then go on and flash 3 times repeativly to indicate the SRS ECU memory is reset.
