Gday Peeps!

New to the forum here so i thought i'd say  to everyone! Picking up my new Jazz this week so im heaps excited (after 2 months of waiting...).

Just a question... what's the best way to remove the badges without scratching the paint?

Cheers!

i'm pretty sure they come off quite easily.
won't take much effort, probably just use your hands.

pour some hot water on it...
get fishing line.. and put it into the edges and just keep scraping all the glue off.. with the fishing line.. and eventually da badge will fall off

and then u can give the badge to me..

peace^^

the "H" badge has 2 holes underneath da badge...

the "JAZZ" and "VTI' and "GLI" badges dont have any holes

after you take out your badge, try to clean as much glue as possible with your nails, once you done that, use metho on soft 100% cotton sheet and rub it on the left over glue and that should take out all the glue

The H Badges are plastic and you'll need to snap them off.
I didnt realise they were, hoping i can keep it as a souvenir whilst replacing it with a light up H, so i took the whole back panel off windscreen wipers and all.
anyway...... just snap them off :)

another way to easily remove a badge is to leave your car out in the sun on the badge side, so that the glue softens, therefore loosens it's stickyness (this can also be done with other stickers/decals). now, firmly dislodge badge and remove gently. to clean the glue residue there is a product in the market specifically made to remove the remaining sticky surface left on the surface of your car. all the best! (i remember this as being one of my first mods to my ex honda.......hahaha)

pour some hot water on it...

I'm not too sure if hot water works all that well.... its better if you have heat gun or blast it for couple of hours with a hair dryer.

Used a heat gun on my dads car to fix up a wonky sticker.

it didnt take much effort for me..fishing lines helps, then slowly peel it off by hand, i guess perhaps cause they car is still new? double sided tape behind the badge shuldnt stuck on too firmly compare to aged badges. quite an easy procedure, good luck
