purchase EK9 Recaro rails..

as the EK9 recaros and the DC5R recaros are both of SR type.. therefore sharing the same base..

Where can i source CTR EK9 rails? Would it be cheaper to get custom rails made?

try pm'ing some of the traders on this forum.. they would probably help you source them..

It is not easy to find EK9 rails, probably one of the Traders could direct you in the right path.
Custom rails could be used, but you need to make sure it is done properly, by that I mean have them custom made so there is no gap when bolted onto your car and that there is no movement. :)

Using your stock EK rails may be a good start...

Hope this helps!

modified from ur original own seat rail is one of the cheapest way to do it .

but the disadvantage is .... u may not put back ur original seat back to the seat rail anymore.......( depends on the mechanic how he do , or else u can mention to him say u might put back the seat again when u want to sell the car )

try to search the DIY forum , c did any1 had post up this DIY convertion seat rail b4 in Ozhonda forum or other websites....

Or else , go to looking for the 2ndhand EK9 seat rail from the wreackers.....

Jsut buy vision recaro rails or ek9 rails.

Why risk the dangers of modifying rails.
